As most makeup fanatics know, make brushes are an investment. They do not come cheap. Some sets can run you back as much as a small car payment.

I know for matter of fact if there was fire, besides my kids, I would go to grab my 50 piece brush set hands down!

Many women stay away from brushes because of the price but the value they add to your makeup regime is worth it.

I decided there must be brushes out there that could work well for women and not have them break the bank. So I had my work cut out for me to  find a decent set of makeup brushes (or two) for under $20 (with good reviews) and I am happy to report I came out a winner! And possibly you too!

Whichever brush set you end up with, always make sure to clean your brushes each week or two depending how much you use them. I use baby shampoo to clean mine and leave them hanging over the edge of my counter overnight as makeup artist Bobby Brown suggest.
